Course Overview: The H&SAW in Occupational Safety and Health is a course designed to help non specialist to discharge more effectively their organisational duties or functions with respect to workplace health & safety.  Such people include managers, supervisors and employee representative. Course Content:  The syllabus is divided into 3 units as follows:

• H&SAW 1:  The Management of Health & Safety
• H&SAW2:  Controlling Workplace Hazards
• H&SAW 3:  Health and Safety Practical Application

• Workplace Hazards Risk and Control
• Transport Hazards Risk and Control
• Musculoskeletal Hazards Risk and Control
• Work Equipment Hazards Risk and Control
• Electrical Safety
• Fire Safety
• Chemical and Biological Health Hazards Risk and Control
• Physical and Psychological Health Hazards Risk and Control
